Cookie Policy
Last Updated: October 24, 2026
Quote n Go uses cookies, browser storage, server logs and similar technologies (collectively, "Technologies") to help provide, protect and improve the Quote n Go Platform. This Cookie Policy ("Policy") supplements the Quote n Go Privacy Policy and explains how and why we use these Technologies and the choices you have.
1. WHY QUOTE N GO USES THESE TECHNOLOGIES.
We use these Technologies for a number of purposes, such as:
- to enable you to use and access the Platform, including signing in and keeping your session,
- to remember your cart, searches, addresses, language and privacy choice,
- to apply referral and promotional codes,
- to process payments securely and to detect and prevent fraud,
- to apply the privacy rules of your region,
- where you allow it, to understand how visitors navigate through and interact with the Platform, and to improve it, and
- where you allow it, to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show you relevant ads on other websites and apps.
2. COOKIES AND BROWSER STORAGE.
2.1 What Are Cookies and Browser Storage.
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser that can identify your browser and store information, such as settings or preferences. Browser storage (local storage and session storage) works in a similar way but keeps information in your browser without sending it with every request. "Session" cookies and session storage normally expire when you close your browser; "persistent" cookies and local storage remain on your device until they expire or you clear them.
2.2 How We Use Them.
Most of what we store is strictly necessary for the Platform to work, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your cart. Some of it is associated with your account and personal information, for example to keep you signed in. Analytics Technologies are used only where permitted (see section 8). The full list is in section 9.
3. PIXELS AND WEB BEACONS.
Pixels and web beacons are small pieces of code that send information to a server when a page is viewed or an action is taken. Where you allow Targeting, we use pixels from advertising partners, such as Google and Meta, to see whether a specific action was performed after you saw or clicked one of our ads (for example requesting a quote), and to measure and improve our advertising. We do not track whether you open our emails or click their links.
4. SERVER LOGS AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES.
We collect information through server logs when you use the Platform, such as your device's IP address, browser type, operating system, language, screen size and time zone, the dates and times of your visits, the pages you view, the website or link that brought you to the Platform (including referral and campaign details), and your approximate location derived from your IP address. This information helps us operate and secure the Platform, understand traffic and detect security threats.
5. ANALYTICS AND SESSION RECORDINGS.
Where you allow it, we use Mixpanel to understand how the Platform is used: which pages are visited, how people move between them, and where they run into problems. This includes session recordings, which replay clicks, scrolling and page changes during a visit. Card details are entered in Stripe's secure fields and are never recorded. Mixpanel only runs if you allow Performance Technologies, and it stops as soon as you turn them off.
6. DEVICE INFORMATION.
We may use your IP address, browser information or other data provided by your browser or device to recognise the device you use to access the Platform, keep your session secure, and help prevent fraud. We use device information for advertising only where you allow Targeting.
7. THIRD PARTIES.
Some Technologies on the Platform are provided by third parties: Supabase (sign-in), Stripe (payments and fraud prevention, on checkout and payment pages), Google (Sign in with Google and address search), Mapbox (maps) and, where you allow it, Mixpanel (analytics) and advertising partners such as Google and Meta (Targeting). These providers process information under their own privacy policies, including the Stripe Privacy Policy, the Google Privacy Policy and the Mixpanel Privacy Policy. Advertising partners may use these Technologies to collect information from the Platform and elsewhere, and use it to show you ads they believe are most likely to interest you and to measure their effectiveness. You can control Google's advertising through Google Ads Settings and Meta's through your Facebook ad preferences. We do not use Google Analytics. For more information on how we share information, see the Privacy Policy.
8. YOUR CHOICES.
8.1 Your Choices by Region.
In Canada and everywhere outside the United States, Performance Technologies are off until you allow them in the cookie banner; ignoring the banner means no. In the United States, they are on by default and you can turn them off at any time. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal everywhere. Targeting Technologies are off everywhere, including the United States, until you allow them, and a Global Privacy Control signal is treated as a refusal of them too. Strictly necessary Technologies are always on, because the Platform cannot work without them.
8.2 Changing Your Choice.
You can change your choice at any time through Privacy preferences, under Resources in the site footer (Support & resources at the bottom of every page). Your choice is kept for 12 months, or until we change this Policy. If you opt out of Targeting, you will still see ads, but they will not be tailored to your interests.
8.3 Browser Settings.
You can also clear or block cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. Please be aware that if you do, some parts of the Platform may not work as intended or may not work at all.
8.4 Sharing Through Other Apps.
When you share your referral link, your device's own sharing options are used (for example email, text messaging or social apps). The app you choose receives what you share and handles it under its own privacy policy. We do not embed social media plugins on the Platform.
8.5 Self-Regulatory Programs.
You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance (YourAdChoices in the United States, AdChoices in Canada) and the Network Advertising Initiative. We do not control these programs and are not responsible for their availability or accuracy.
